PRODUCT INFO CARDS

I started creating these years ago to go with GIFTS – so the receiver would know how cool the gift was and how best to use it!

Also, I felt a product info card would be great to go with SAMPLES, so the receiver would want to try the sample asap once she saw its benefits. Then I found they were great for demos (so I knew what to say when I talked about the products) and also Facebook posts and on displays for open house and at my studio! So, gradually over time, I kept adding to them and have found they really make a difference.

I put in a bag like pictured or simply tape to a foil sample packet!

I usually print out on regular paper or cardstock!

CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM

Customer Loyalty 101
To start a customer loyalty program you must be a woman of your word and willing to track your customer’s points as well as honor their rewards when they want to redeem them.
This loyalty program is based upon their purchases from you. For every $1 they spend, they receive 1 point. After they spend $300 (or get 300 points) they will receive a $25 gift card to spend with you up to 30 days after their qualifying purchase.
Points are given on the retail sales amount before taxes but after discount. So if you bought an eyeliner for $12, they would receive 12 points. However if you were having a sale on eyeliners for $10, they would receive only 10 points.
Customers do not receive points on their first purchase with you. This is a LOYALTY program so their points stat at their second purchase with you when they show you their loyalty.
Points restart every seminar year on July 1st.

So how do you get started?!?

STEP 1: Edit then print Perks for Working With Me Customer Loyalty cards on cardstock. Include this card in all new customer orders.
STEP 2: Create a Customer Loyalty Binder with A-Z divider tabs Print Customer Loyalty Tracking Sheet (front and back) and 3 hole punch.
STEP 3: When a customer places their first order with you, just fill out their Name and Phone Number on the tracking sheet – with NO POINTS! Customers do not get points on their first order with you because they are not “loyal” yet. Creating a blank tracking sheet for them will remind you on their 2nd order that they are ready to receive points.
STEP 4: As customers receive points for their orders, text them an update with the following text and image:
“Hi NAME!, With your last order you have added ## points to your Pink Piggy Bank. You have ## points to go until you earn your $25 Gift Card!! YOUR NAME”

If your customer has earned their $25 gift card, text them the following text and image:
“Hi NAME, With your last order you have earned a $25 Gift Card through your pink Piggy Bank. You have until (DATE 30 DAYS FROM TODAY) to redeem it!! Happy Shopping!! Your NAME”

  • My first skincare class I was so scared…they had to ask me how they could get the products!
  • After I joined Mary Kay and called m mother – she didn’t recognize my voice because I was so excited!
  • I threw up in front of cosmetic counter the first time I was ‘shopping’ for faces – I was so terrified!!
  • I am scared to talk to strangers about MK but strive to do it every day anyway! I am still shy and get butterflies before I speak.
  • Prior to Mary Kay, I never worked at the same job over 4 months! I was a “Professional Job-Hopper”…thinking the grass was greener somewhere else! It wasn’t until I went “Pink”!!
  • I run my scripts and presentations by my ‘fur person’…If Buddy cocks his head and wags hit tail, we’re good to go – if he doesn’t …I know I need to practice more!!
  • My first computer I just looked at for 10 years before sitting down to learn…It scared me to death! I have had to ‘learn’ that technology is my friend…still learning!!
