Some of the best things Mary Kay has given me:
- I value having been taught by Mary Kay Ash and Dalene White (1st Beauty Consultant, and our NSD) personally and know it’s one of those special things that I will always hold near to my heart! I am 4th generation to Mary Kay Ash!!
- Associations with the sharpest, most incredible women on the earth
- Greater spirituality and understanding of faith and prayer
- Life lessons of focus, stick-to-it-iveness, determination and courage
- Opportunities to travel the world with my hubby and the most amazing women – Mary Kay NSDs and Directors
- The best friends I could ever imagine having in my life – my Mary Kay girlfriends – Priceless!
- Being able to speak before 5 people, or 10,000 people and still breathe – and not throw up!
You might be surprised to know:
- My first skincare class I was so scared…they had to ask me how they could get the products!
- After I joined Mary Kay and called m mother – she didn’t recognize my voice because I was so excited!
- I threw up in front of cosmetic counter the first time I was ‘shopping’ for faces – I was so terrified!!
- I am scared to talk to strangers about MK but strive to do it every day anyway! I am still shy and get butterflies before I speak.
- Prior to Mary Kay, I never worked at the same job over 4 months! I was a “Professional Job-Hopper”…thinking the grass was greener somewhere else! It wasn’t until I went “Pink”!!
- I run my scripts and presentations by my ‘fur person’…If Buddy cocks his head and wags hit tail, we’re good to go – if he doesn’t …I know I need to practice more!!
- My first computer I just looked at for 10 years before sitting down to learn…It scared me to death! I have had to ‘learn’ that technology is my friend…still learning!!
